Menu, stationery, tableware, and promotional articles.
Corcores is a traditional Spanish food restaurant. Offering a great variety of delicious tapas with excellent Spanish wines. They have a very casual environment with a flamenco musician playing in the background. Corcores is an inviting place where you’ll spend a good couple of hours for lunch or dinner, but their print image did not represent the restaurant's quality, food, wines, or service.
The owner hired me to design all their stationery and promotional materials for the restaurant. The place was decorated with hardwood floors, wood panels, and brown colors to make it look rustic and cozy. But there was a lack of color. I started with the menus because they were great places to make a significant change and get noticed. I used many colors and images of food and drinks for the covers to make them fun and memorable. These covers were oversized, so when these were placed, they gave a splash of color to every table. The inside menu was designed to be clean and clear to read.
Results
The menu covers were so successful that we incorporated this design element in all the stationery, tableware, and promotional articles.
